I have been seeing Dr Shetty since the beginning of 2020, soon after he opened a second office here in New Braunfels. Each one of my visit experiences has gotten better and better as his office staff was more developed. Today’s visit was the best. Dr Shetty listened to my breathing concerns, listened to my breathing under different conditions. Asked several questions about all my possibilitie exposures to lung irritants over my life - even picked up on my Vietnam agent orange exposure. He also examined the arthritis in my fingers. At the end Dr Shetty explained how different materials and the arthritis could impact my breathing. He then ordered several tests and a follow-up visit.

Thoroughness. Deep concern. Listening. These all describe Dr. Shetty. He found a tumor on unrelated system on a chest CT x 2 years and encouraged follow ups with other providers to monitor and delve further into. Turned out to be cancer. I got it removed and thanked him thoroughly on the next appointment. If you’re lucky enough to get an appointment with him, KEEP IT!

Dr Shetty is professional yet personable and kind. He always explains everything fully to me, and asks if I have concerns or questions.

Dr Shetty is such a caring and brilliant doctor. He did his research in advance about my 77 year old mother and knew that she was admitted to the hospital without me having to apprise him. He expressed full concern about her history and present surroundings, this indicated ghat he really was interested in his patient and throughout the visit he was attentive and made eye contact with my mother and I. This made us feel welcomed and happy to be there. Dr Shetty explained clearly and simply what he believes could be the diagnosis but preferred to run further tests this way a proper diagnosis could align with her treatment. This doctor is well read, very pleasant, patient with my mother and to me is concerned about her getting better. ALS when I got to his office, Stevie a member of his staff helped me by taking my mom out of the car with their wheel chair and returning her to the car after the visit. This made me so happy. Stevie took the initiative to give me a break when I really needed one. Thank you guys.

Dr shetty, see's my husband is a very good doctor. We like about him is that when we see him he is very patient and explains every little detail on the examinations that he did on my husband. But he staff need to be looked at very close. Not happy with the staff. They don't smell, don't greet very unprofessional. The nurse that see my husband is great too she always greets us with a smile tells my husband what she is gonna do first makes he feel less nervous.

It’s hard to get in here. Busy practice. The doc is smart, soft spoken, & efficient. The medical assistants are nice.

Dr. Shetty is an Excellent doctor, one of best. I have one lung and he is helping me to live a long time.

My first appointment was with Olivia Bridgeman, PA. She was very kind and listened to my concerns. She was told me what she would like to do as far as tests were concerned. And I agreed. The second time I went in I also saw Olivia and she was very forthcoming with my test results. Told me what was the treatment plan. Some of it I agreed to and some of it I did not. My third appointment was with Dr. Shetty. He was very kind and very forthcoming. My daughter usually comes with me but she was unable to for that appointment and Dr. Shetty was kind enough to call her and let her know what he found and what my prognosis is and what my future treatment plan would be. The clinic was not difficult to get into for appointments. And I am glad that we have found them.

Difficult to get first appointment and then saw a PA, which I usually prefer. However, didn’t feel confident until saw doctor Shetti and now very please he is trying to figure out my issue.

I saw Dr Shetty just yesterday for a checkup. He scheduled me for a visit in March 2026. I am to have a HRCT scan and a PFT before then. I believe he is a wonderful intelligent doctor and is interested in my health. He was encouraging about my walking on the treadmill daily.

I got to see the doctor and ask him some questions about my ailment. Although he does could not answer all my questions (could not take an oxygen test due to Covid), he did answer some that will help me get to the next step.

I was worked into the schedule after describing my problem which turned out more complicated than I expected. I was given a sample inhaler to help me along with a prescription. Because lung problems are not always easy to diagnose he ordered blood work and a chest CT as the xray only ruled out pneumonia I have several other tests before I will be seen. Thank you for the opportunity to express my opinion. I have offered support for my positive opinion in six categories listed below. (1) Staff welcoming and extreme expertise, Encounter Visit available immediately. Veronica and Carla work like a well oiled machine at the check out desk. Intake staff at front desk welcoming and efficient. (2) Dr. Sayed is kind, knowledgeable, patient and obviously talented. And he allows Objective Inquiry to be his Guiding Light. For this reason he is trustworthy. (3) Location: No brick and mortar mansions required. Ambulatory and off site is the new modality. (4) Organization: Obvious. Specialist Specific Intake Form, helpful for all ages, all educational levels (The top right “Today’s appt time: 9:30). As a Data Scientist Population Health, this is the tool that impressed me most. It says: “This is who we are, this is how we operate, this is our protocol.” All locations, most common diagnostic, vitals. “Protocol/Navigation for Dummies” When, where, what. (5) Encounter Visit Available Immediately. I was impressed by (1) Subjective, (2) Objective, (3) Assessment and (4) Plan. Absolutely covered Past, Present and Future . (6) Their modus operanti says: "This is who we are, our philosophy of patient care." (7) Not an echo chamber.

Great visit took time to explain all Very professional. left.w/ knowledge of my sleep study. Staff also friendly and professional. Appointment time punctual no longtime waiting.

Dr Shetty went over the data from my CPAP and explained it to me. He checked my immediate condition and we discussed my sleeping habits. My apnea diagnosis was affirmed and he made necessary arrangements for replacement equipment and a new sleep study.

Dr Shetty was the only Pulmonologist who was not confused by my rare diagnosis 3 years ago and had a clear cut plan to getting me better. It was a long road, but he was with me and never gave up on me. He watched closely every three months in remission to make sure I wasn’t relapsing. I am better today because of Dr Shetty and the other doctors would still be wondering what I had and how to treat it or have given up. He is kind, caring and very sharp. I am fortunate to have him for my Pulmonologist. I am so happy he walked into the hospital when I was so very sick that day and I knew he was the doctor that had a plan.

I have been an admirer of Dr Shetty since I started seeing him in 2018. Though my lungs showed problems the lungs weren't causing the muscle weakness that was increasing to the point that I was on oxygen. Dr. Sheddy was professional, thorough and compassionate. He picked up on some things that the PCP didn't and took the initiative to follow through on the appropriate testing. The office was clean and neat and his staff was friendly and efficient! I'm so glad that another friend highly recommended him.

I arrived early & as time allowed, they advanced my appointment by 20 minutes. Greatly appreciated. My pulmary testing went very well & when asked if I was close to normal, the tech stated she was not able to say anything. Again, I was appreciative of her professionalism. Good experience.

Hard to reach them by phone. Hardly ever get to see Dr Shetty. Need to have a Portal where you can leave messages for the Dr or Nurse like my regular MD!!

How refreshing it was to have a Doctor like Dr. Shetty sit down and talk with you about your history and what medications would work better than your present ones. It is hard to see a Doctor more than 2-3 minutes anymore but Doctor Shetty took all the time needed to explain your present condition and where you should be at this time. Also, his staff is top notch. The entire office seems to care about you.

I was seen 5 minutes early (miracle, right?)), vitals were promptly taken, and five minutes later, Dr. Shetty came in; lots to be discussed since I had had a procedure done at the end of December. As usual, (and one of his finest traits) he looked me in the eye and explained everything. I left feeling so much better than when I walked in. Also, hudos to all of his staff.

Dr. Shetty is the best! He saved my life back in 2021 and has kept me breathing ever since! He and his staff are top notch professional and caring!

I have been a patient with Lung Docs for several years now. Dr. Shetty and his staff have always been on top of my care. The fear and uncertainty of having respiratory problems is an everyday, every minute occurrence in patience daily lives. I have been seen by both Dr. Shetty and Candice Trager FNP-C, and have always felt that they understood not only the medical aspect, but the emotional one as well. I know that Ms. Trager is in constant contact with Dr. Shetty so I encourage anyone who needs to be seen not to hesitate to make an appointment with Ms. Trager. I can assure you, you'll be as impressed with her as I am. Let's not forget the rest of the staff!
